The hotel is located near the Plaza Circular and almost 2 kilometres north of the centre of Murcia (including such sights as the Cathedral and the Glorieta). It is also well connected to the Andalusia highway.

The AC Murcia Hotel is a modern, 4-star property, which opened in 2002 and houses 78 guestrooms. Like the majority of AC Hotels the property's interior is designed in a modern style and provides facilities suitable for business as well as leisure travellers. The spacious lobby boasts plenty of natural light and is crisply appointed, with cream marble floors and a dark wood reception desk. At the far end of the reception desk you will find a spacious seating area, furnished with chocolate and cream coloured settees and black coffee tables. On the right hand side of the seating area there’s also an Internet terminal. The guestrooms are medium sized, with dark wood parquet flooring, matching headboards and colourfully upholstered furnishings. The green marble bathrooms are also good sized, featuring bath and shower, as well as designer sinks. Decorated in a similar style to the lobby, the hotel’s spacious restaurant offers a hot and cold buffet breakfast and international cuisine for dinner. Lunches for groups can also be arranged. (Please note that the outdoor swimming pool will not now be open until the beginning of the 2008/2009 season.)
